Certification & Reporting
LABELS
Graphius has been an FSC® certified printing company (FSC-C014767) for many years. We also print on paper with other environmental labels
SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
Graphius reports every two years in its own sustainability report on the state of affairs, the achievements and the challenges in sustainable entrepreneurship within and around the company.
ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR
A specialist environmental coordinator closely monitors the progress of our environmental programme and, together with Graphius, sets our targets.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Graphius is working intensively on two UN Sustainable Development Goals, the global guideline for sustainability by 2030.
CO2 Footprint
ENERGIE
Efficiënt energieverbruik is een belangrijk aandachtspunt voor Graphius. We lieten een energie audit uitvoeren door Stad Gent en Emaze.
In 2019 investeerde Graphius ruim 900.000 euro in een zonnepaneel goed zijn voor 25% van het energieverbruik.
PAPER & INK
We closely monitor the purchase and consumption of paper and our production is carried out with as little paper waste as possible. Our goal is to reduce paper waste by 6% year on year.
TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS
Graphius strives to deliver its printed matter efficiently and to avoid unnecessary emissions. We have our own transport service and our fleet meets the ECO 5 standards.
WATER
We collect rainwater for sanitary use. The polluted water that we use is collected by Sita. The unpolluted water is taken away through the sewer system.
EMISSION
Graphius aims to produce 1% of our orders in a CO2-neutral way.

RECRUITMENT POLICY
Due to the aging of the graphics sector, young people are important for the future of our company. We take this into account when recruiting new employees.
WORKING AT GRAPHIUS
Since 2016, we have been planning annual performance reviews with all employees. In addition, Graphius wants to encourage its employees to choose a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Graphius offers a flexible and generous cycling policy for all its employees so they are rewarded for their contribution to a better climate.

As a family business, Graphius has historical ties with Oostakker (Ghent). The site of today’s Graphius has grown significantly in recent years and is surrounded by a residential area.
SOCIETY
Graphius sees social involvement as more than just attention and care for people, internally and externally. We must also (dare to) take steps to raise awareness among consumers and suppliers.
